The Mt.Diablo Collectors Series is Completed!

This is one of 12 Mt.Diablo Paintings titled "Deerhill Road" 36" X 48."

"Deerhill Road," reaches through Lafayette, California. Many painters have found their inspiration at the vista points along this stretch. However, many of the artists do not include the freeway scene in their painting, opting for a more natural look. Stan Levine successfully meshes the serene landscape with the business of everyday life in California's East Bay.

Mount Diablo is viewablt from almost any location in the East Bay. Having lived in the area for 30+ years, Stan Levine was inspired by the beautiful sites of this "Devil's Mountain." After hiking many trails and searching for the perfect view, he created this series of twelve paintings. Six of these paintings feature views of the mountain form around the East Bay while the other six feature views while hiking the mountain itself. Each painting started out as a pen and ink drawing before Stan put the paintbrush to the canvas.
